What Accounts for Finland's High Student Achievement Rate?

  1. Finland is the top ranked school system in the world
  2. correlation between country's schooling and their overall economics
  3. high graduation rate, equal education access among students, high achievement on international benchmarking tests, and moderate per-pupil spending
  4. Education is a civil right
  5. K-8 grade and highschool are mandatory
  6. The average acceptance rate into schools of education is a mere 10%.
  7. They abolished standardized tests
  8. 2-3 hours less of education than american schools
  9. also helpful because finland has a small population

  1. Im confused about your point because you say that they are the highest ranked school in the world, but then why are the hours less then us and the acceptance rate is only 10%.
