The Scorch Trials, Chapter 16, James Dashner
- Even though this is a fiction book, it's foundation is pretty close to our society/world we live in, a dystopian future.
- However, the situation of our world is different, more like a "What if?" situation.
- Current situation in the book is the world has been exposed to dangerous sun rays and therefore threw off the climate entirely, and spread a disease called "The Flare" causing people to go complelely inhumane.
- In trying to hold down the epidemic of "The Flare" the world governemts decided to gather their intellegience in looking for a cure.
- The result of putting the world governements together is WICKED, World In Catastrophe Killzone Experiment Department
- The world can harmonize if something bigger than all them can bring them to an alliance.

ReplyDelete1. You made some good points here, such as our world being more like a "what if" situation and how the book is close to the world/society we live in. I agree with them because i have read the book and now that i think of it it is similar to our world/society.
